A Supercar to Remind Us of the Joy of Driving: 2025 Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD Spyder

When you get your hands on a Lamborghini Huracan, you drive as much as possible.
I had this beauty for four days in Los Angeles recently, and I put nearly 200 miles on it, just joy-riding.

It’s the kind of car that turns heads, causes bystanders to pull out their phones,

and maybe even follow you down the street taking photos and video of you. Yes, all of those things happened to me in my time with this gorgeous ride.

I also had so many people in Santa Monica wave and smile, and a fellow Lamborghini driver pull up beside me on Rodeo Drive to chat. It’s that special of a car.

Yes, this kind of attention will set you back a pretty penny, but that’s not why I would spend the money on this. Keep reading to find out why I would shell out this many dollars on a Lamborghini.

No Creature Comforts Here
I’m not buying this for the generous cargo space (there isn’t any), convenient cupholders (they sort of don’t exist), Wireless Apple CarPlay (nope), or power and heated seats (also nope).

The media system was mediocre and I found the Bluetooth connectivity to be incredibly glitchy, but I loved the vertical touchscreen.

The car doesn’t have a USB-C port so I had to run to the “Tar-jay” for a USB charger to use Apple CarPlay and be able to charge my phone in the car. Once that was connected, Apple CarPlay worked perfectly and I loved the audio system.

However, I will say that I enjoyed the absolutely wonderful engine sounds so I didn’t rely on my playlists as much as I normally do when I drive.

But having Apple Maps was helpful as I drove a ton of canyon roads, Malibu, Beverly Hills, around Santa Monica and greater Los Angeles; NOT getting lost was key.

There is one pop out cupholder, which I did use, but learned quickly that a Starbucks Grande is not the appropriate size as my Pink Coconut Drink went flying out at me while I was driving on the 405. After that I stuck to smaller cups in that spot.

Speaking of storage, there is none. There is a tiny front-trunk, or frunk, that might fit one bag of groceries, but definitely not even a carry-on suitcase. It was comical for me to put my luggage on the front passenger floor on my way to my hotel, I wish I’d snapped a photo for you.

The seats, about a $12,000 option on my spec, while comfortable and very cool looking Sport style with alcantara and bright orange embroidery details were manual and not power. At first, my 5’1″ self thought I might have a hard time with visibility,

but I managed to find just the right seating position comfortably. I will say that at my height, you can’t see well enough out the rear to shoulder-check,

so I had to briefly speed up or slow down to change lanes to make sure there was noone in my blind spot. This actually didn’t take much time to get used to.

I was surprised my left leg was always bent while my foot rested on the dead pedal, so I think a very tall man might actually feel a bit cramped in here. Clearly this car was built for me.
